BD-Canada is aware of the U.S. FDA issuing Safety Communication stating concern that certain plastic syringes may not provide consistent and adequate quality or performance. This safety notice does not apply to any BD syringes. Hypodermic syringes BD provides to the Canadian health care system are not manufactured in China. Please refer to the BD global statement for more details.
